Happiness and Human Flourishing Scholars Community

The Headwaters Project leads the Happiness and Human Flourishing Scholars Community in the Frederick’s Honor’s College at the University of Pittsburgh.

One key activity of the Scholars Community is the Civil Discourse about Flourishing Reading Group. The reading group consists of students and faculty from applied arts and science schools and meets twice per month to read and discuss writings that help us better understand spiritual, political, and cultural conditions that sustain a good life well-lived. We also host a number of extracurricular and service learning opportunities.

If you are a student or faculty member interested in participating in the Scholars Community. Please follow and sign up for the Headwaters Project mailings and newsletters here.
